UNOH Volleyball Announces 2026 Schedule

LIMA, OH - The UNOH Volleyball program has released their 2026 match slate consisting of 36 regular season matches with 15 at home, 14 on the road, and seven played at neutral sites.

UNOH will begin the season on August 18 with a first ever trip to Spartanburg Methodist in South Carolina where they will play a tri-match with the Pioneers and the (RV) Columbia International Rams, also a first time meeting. They then head to the Onset Invational for a fifth straight season August 21-22 playing four matches in two days against Fisk, Campbellsville, Brescia, and Spring Arbor. The Onset Invite will still be played in Fort Wayne, Indiana but will have a new home in 2026 with the Turnstone Center playing host to the latest rendition. One week later, the Racers will make their final non-conference road trip traveling to Judson University for the first time ever to play a tri-match with the No. 7 team in NCCAA DII, Faith Bible Baptist, followed by the host Eagles. It's the program's first meeting with the Eagles of Faith Bible and its first against the Eagles of Judson since 2021.

UNOH opens September with their first home matches of the year bringing back the Racer Rumble after a two year hiatus. The weekend of September 4-5 will be played in a consecutive tri-match format with Wright State-Lake, who finished last season No. 4 in USCAA DII, and Midway coming in Friday followed by Goshen and Governors State on Saturday.

Conference play begins September 9 with three straight road matches at Indiana Tech, Lawrence Tech and Rochester Christian. A single match break from conference play slides into the September 23 spot with the program's first ever trip to Heidelberg before getting into their longest homestand of the year. No. 23 Cornerstone rolls into Lima on September 25 followed by a tri-match with No. 17 Aquinas, two-time defending WHAC Regular Season and Tournament Champions, and No. 9 Cumberlands on Saturday. All three teams qualified for the final site Pool Play round of the 2025 NAIA National Championship.

A non-conference tri-match will open the month of October with a trip to Gary, Indiana to face No. 24 Huntington and host IU-Northwest. After one home WHAC match, UNOH then travels to Ohio Christian October 10 for a true doubleheader format for the first time since 2021 and just the third time ever (Aquinas - 2021, UM-Dearborn - 2020). The Trailblazers ended last season at No. 3 in NCCAA DI. The Racers make their return trips to No. 17 Aquinas and No. 23 Cornerstone October 23 and 24, respectively, before ending the month with another doubleheader against St. Mary-Woods. The regular season will conclude at Defiance College November 4 with the WHAC Tournament scheduled to begin Wednesday, November 12.

Along with the varsity schedule, UNOH volleyball also released the full schedule of games for the 2026 Development Team. They will open at home on August 25 against Clark State with the full slate including six home and nine away matches. Heidelberg, Indiana Tech, Defiance, Findlay and Bluffton will all visit The Garage with four straight road trips, including the WHAC JV Tournament October 18, rounding out the year.
