MOUNT VERNON, OH - UNOH men's basketball (1-1) got off to a slow start and couldn't recover falling 76-66 at Mount Vernon Nazarene (2-0).
The Racers were down double-digits before they got on the scoreboard but cut the lead to just five with eleven minutes left in the first half. That was close as UNOH would get as they trailed 46-29 at halftime. The Racers got the deficit to single digits three times in the second half but couldn't complete the comeback.
Mohamad Kraidly (JR/Beirut, Lebanon) led the team with 20 points shooting 8-19 (42%) and 3-5 (60%) from outside. Biggz Johnson (SO/Lima, Ohio) finished with 17 and Jaden Causwell (JR/Johns Creek, Georgia) had 16.
UNOH will play their last non-conference game Saturday, November 5, at Spring Arbor before they open WHAC play next week.
