OAKLAND CITY, IN - The opening night of the Dunn Hospitality Group Classic began with UNOH taking on Ohio Christian in the Johnson Center at Oakland City University. The Trailblazers led by eight at halftime and pulled away for an 83-70 win over the Racers.
Ryan Archey led the team with 16 points shooting 5-10 from the field and 4-8 from outside. Archey was also second on the team with six rebounds adding two steals and an assist. Quinton Monroe chipped in 15 off the bench doing most of his damage on seven of eight from the free throw line. Grant Pikkaart finished with 13 points and nine rebounds dishing three assists and a block.
The Racers won the rebounding battle for the first time this season grabbing 42 as a team to 36 for Ohio Christian but turned the ball over 22 times to just 13 giving up 31 points off turnovers.
UNOH will play again at the Dunn Hospitality Group Classic on Saturday, November 11, taking on host Oakland City at 4:00 PM.
