UNOH Comes Up Short Against IU-Kokomo

LIMA, OH - Northwestern Ohio men's basketball played tight with (RV) IU-Kokomo for 30 minutes but saw the Cougars pull away late in the second half to defeat the Racers 84-69.

The game went back-and-forth in the first half with IUK edging out a 4-point lead at the break. The teams continued the same pattern through ten minutes of the second half before the Cougars turned a 6-point game into a 15-poing game and held that cushion through the final buzzer.

Ryan Archey led the team in scoring with 20 points while grabbing six rebounds, also a team high. He was the only player in double-figures with Landon Springler and Jayden Priddy-Powell each scoring eight.

The Racers were out-rebounded 47-29 while shooting a season low 32% from the field.

UNOH opens conference play Saturday, November 16, on the road at Cornerstone at 3:00 PM.
