LIMA, OH - It was a tight game from start to finish that featured four ties and eight lead changes as neither team could get control with no more than seven points separating the two over 40 minutes of play. In the end, it was Rochester owning the night as UNOH came up on the short end of a 75-70 scoreline.
The Racers didn't take their first lead of the game until less than four minutes remained in the first half but it didn't last long the Warriors held a slight two-point advantage at the break. The game continued to bounce back and fourth and sat tied at 69 with just over a minute remaining. After UNOH split two free throws to take a 70-69 lead, Rochester managed to ice the game going 6-6 from the charity stripe to slide past the Racers.
Ryan Archey led all scores with 22 points, his third straight 20+ outing. Archey was 9-20 (45%) from the field with three rebounds and two assists. DJ Bogay gave the Racers 16 points off the bench hitting seven of ten shots in the game. Kahlil Davis finished one rebound short of a double with 13 points and nine boards adding a team high four assists.
UNOH will play their third of three straight home games at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 20, against Cornerstone.
