Racers Roll at Home 111-66

LIMA, OH - UNOH never trailed in their second triple-digit home performance in as many games rolling through Miami-Middletown Thursday night, 111-66. It is the program's most points scored in the Westernlund era and it's highest output since 2018.

The Racers jumped out to a twelve-point lead in the first five minutes, 19-7, and never looked back scoring 59 in the first half and 52 in the second while holding the Thunderhawks to just 30 and 36. 

Thirteen of 14 participating Racers got into the scoring column led by Ryan Archey's 23 over just 20 minutes of game time. Archey hit 70% of his shots from the field (7-10) and eight of nine free throw attempts adding five rebounds, four steals, two assists and a block to his line. Malachi Black scored 17 with a perfect 7-7 performance grabbing seven boards with Jayden Priddy-Powell putting up 13 off the bench. Grant Pikkaart recorded his first career double-double with ten points and ten rebounds and Caleb Chapman chipped in eleven points.

UNOH shot 54% as a team holding Miami-Middletown to 38% forcing 25 turnovers and grabbing 17 steals in the game, the program's most since 2019 and tied for the third most all-time.

The Racers will hit the road again on Monday, November 11 with a trip to IU-Kokomo.
