2025-26 Men's Basketball Schedule Released
LIMA, OH - UNOH men's basketball has released their schedule of games for the upcoming 2025-26 season consisting of 28 total games split evenly with 14 home and 14 away contests. The season will highlight six non-conference games, four teams that made the NAIA National Tournament last year, and two first-time matchups.
For the first time in program history, Northwestern Ohio will begin the season at home for a second consecutive season when they host Great Lakes Christian on October 24. The Racers and the Crusaders meet at a non-neutral site for the first time ever and just the second time anywhere in the history of the two programs (the previous matchup took place at Davenport in 2016). Bryant & Stratton - Ohio then comes to Lima on October 25 for a first ever meeting before the Racers hit the road for back-to-back contests. Shawnee State will be the first of the two road games to end October with Goshen following to begin November, both hosting UNOH first the first time since 2019. The non-conference slate will conclude with two home games beginning with a first time meeting against Wright State-Lake followed by the third matchup in four years against Mount Vernon Nazarene.
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) will begin play November 19 with UNOH hosting defending Regular Season Champion Indiana Tech followed by road trips to Rochester Christian and Madonna. Two of the next three games will be played in The Garage with Aquinas finishing off the 2025 schedule on the road.
The new year will open with a tough contest at Cornerstone, two-time defending WHAC Tournament Champions, before the Racers host Cleary and UM-Dearborn. The five proceeding games trade between home and away landing back at UNOH for two consecutive games to end January and begin February. The Racers then go away for two games agaisnt Defiance and Cleary returning home for two more against Cornerstone and Lourdes. The final game of the regular-season will be on the road February 21 with a trip to UM-Dearborn.
The WHAC Tournament will begin play with the Quarterfinals on Thursday, February 26 followed by the Semifinals February 28 and Championship March 3. The top eight teams in the final regular-season standings qualify for the post-season with higher seeds hosting throughout.
In conjuction with the varsity schedule, UNOH men's basketball also announced the full slate of games for the 2025-26 Development Team. The season schedule will consist of 18 total games with eleven road contests and seven played at home.
