Turner Misses Final Cut by Two Strokes at NAIA Men's Golf Championship
DALTON, GA - Northwestern Ohio's Luke Turner became just the second individual qualifier to the NAIA Championship in program history after winning the individual medal at the WHAC Championship in April. Turner performed well in the first round but fell two strokes short of the final cut on day two.
Turner sat in a tie for 32nd with a 75 (+3) after round one on Tuesday but fell five spots after shooting a 77 on day two for a two-day total of 152 (+8). The final cut included the top six individuals after team qualifiers and the line fell at 150, two strokes ahead of Turner.
