LIMA, OH - UNOH (4-3, 3-2) trailed for just 31 seconds the entire game, but had to hold off a pesky comeback attempt from Lourdes (3-5, 1-4) to grab their second in a row.
The Racers needed their highest offensive output of the season to pull out an 88-83 win over the Gray Wolves, the program's most points since January 2, 2019 (Lourdes - 92). UNOH opened with a 32-point quarter and jumped out to a quick twelve point lead. The Racers held their largest lead at 19 points with less than three minutes left in the third, but had to hold off a 12-2 Lourdes run to finished the game.
Jada Haines (SR/Akron, Ohio) led all scorers with her second 30-point outing in as many games. Haines shot 12-21 (57%) from the field while adding five rebounds and five assists. Alysia Lawson (FR/Toledo, Ohio) recorded 19 points going 7-12 (58%) in the game. Ana Montero Sanz (SO/Madrid, Spain) and Mar Marata Crespo (SR/Girona, Spain) scored 16 and twelve points, respectively, while Amy Soumare (SR/Senegal, West Africa) pulled down a game high eight boards.
As a team UNOH shot 60.3%, the program's highest since January 7, 2015 (Marygrove - 61.5) and the fourth highest in program history.
The Racers have a week off before heading to Great Lakes Christian on November 30.
