Women's Basketball: Cougars Best Racers 88-68

LIMA, OH - UNOH (8-5) couldn't slow down the Spring Arbor (11-4) offense as the Cougars pulled away to take a 20-point win in The Garage.

The lead traded hands eight times in the first quarter as the teams stayed even at 14-14 after one. Spring Arbor took the lead to start the second frame and never trailed again. It was a slow grind as the Cougars pulled away leading by seven at the break and 13 after three before taking control in the forth for the 88-68 win.

Jada Haines led all scorers with 22 points shooting 9-24 from the field. Alysia Lawson finished with 14 on 5-15 from the field, Trinity Black Raines went 4-6 from outside for twelve points off the bench and Ana Montero Sanz added ten. Kalea Kruser pulled down a team high seven rebounds in the game.

The Racers will open the new year with game four of a five-game homestand on Wednesday, January 4, against #13 Indiana Tech.
