Logan Thomas put up eleven points for her sixth double-digit total in as many matches. Savanna Reed led all players with 20 assists and Casey Kingsland (SO/Blanchester, Ohio) recorded 15. Defensively, Aubree Ricketts (JR/Plainfield, Illinois) led all players with 12 digs.
The Racers had just nine attack errors and hit .349 as a team, both the program's best since October 2019. Another eleven aces in the match gives UNOH 68 on the season, good for sixth in the country.
"We had two more big wins today," said Head Coach Josh Kreiner. "We really locked down defensively, forcing the other teams to make a lot of mistakes while keeping ours at a minimum. I think you would be hard-pressed to find a better back court in the country than when Bailey [Gregory] and Aubree [Ricketts] are there. Every attack I know we're going to get a piece of the ball and it'll be on target. Now we get a week off to recover from a long weekend before we get back into it. We need the rest, but I can't wait for this team to take the floor again next weekend."
UNOH will carry their winning streak into the Racer Classic next on September 2-3. The Racers face Huntington and Goshen on Friday before finishing with Stephens and Montreat on Saturday.
