Volleyball: Golden Eagles Best Racers in Four

LIMA, OH - UNOH (8-10, 1-5) squared off with #23 Cornerstone (15-3, 6-0) in The Garage on Saturday, September 24. The Racers managed to take one set, but lost in four 25-5, 25-18, 22-25, 25-15.

Abigail Martin (FR/Goshen, Indiana) was the only Racer in double figures with 13 points in the match. Martin recorded ten kills, two service aces and a solo block. Elli Roetgerman (FR/New Bremen, Ohio) finished with 9.5 points off eight kills and a solo block. Logan Thomas (SO/Johnstown, Ohio) was held to single-digit scoring for the first time this season, putting up nine points with eight kills and a solo block. Casey Kingsland (SO/Blanchester, Ohio) and Savanna Reed (FR/Columbia City, Indiana) combined for 26 assists split down the middle. Kingsland earned a season high 12 digs while Aubree Ricketts (JR/Plainfield, Illinois) led the team with 20.

UNOH will play the third of a three-game home stand on Wednesday, September 28 at 7:00 PM in The Garage.
