Volleyball: Racers Battle Saints, Lose in Three

LIMA, OH - Siena Heights (11-6, 7-1) bested UNOH (8-11, 1-6) in a tight three-set match on September 28.

Logan Thomas (SO/Johnstown, Ohio) led the Racers with 12.5 points with eight kills, four service aces and a block assist. Abigail Martin (FR/Goshen, Indiana) recorded eight kills of her own adding a block assist. Casey Kingsland (SO/Blanchester, Ohio) finished with 13 assists in the match and Savanna Reed (FR/Columbia City, Indiana) had twelve. Aubree Ricketts (JR/Plainfield, Illinois) picked up 14 digs, putting her three short of 1000 career digs. Savanna Reed and Casey Kingsland each had ten digs in the match.

As a team, UNOH finished with 35 kills, 33 assists and seven service aces.

The Racers begin a three-game road trip on Friday, September 30 at Rochester before heading to Lawrence Tech on Saturday and wrapping up with Madonna on Wednesday, October 5.
