Thomas Picks up WHAC Attacker of the Week Award
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has named Northwestern Ohio's Logan Thomas as the Attacker of the Week for the week ending September 3. Thomas helped her Racers go 4-0 at the Freed-Hardeman Invitational over the weekend to pick up her third career attacker of the week award.
Thomas finished with 54 kills over the four matches, including a season high 19 against UT-Southern, averaging 3.86 per match with a .266 hitting percentage for the week. She set a new career mark against Fisk hitting .441 with 18 kills and just three errors on 34 swings.
Thomas also racked up 33 digs with eight service aces, two solo blocks and a block assist. Thomas leads the league with 124 kills this season and sits second with 3.54 per set. She is 21st in the country in total points with 150 on the campaign.
Thomas joins teammate Aubree Ricketts, who won WHAC Defender of the Week, as the first Racer duo to earn POTW awards in the same week.
