Racers End Season with Five-Set Win at Madonna

LIVONIA, MI - UNOH volleyball capped the 2023 campaign with a trip to Madonna, bringing home the program's first win in Livonia since 2018 and just the second in program history.

The Racers took set one 25-20 with the Crusaders hanging on to win set two 25-21. Again the teams traded the next two 25-19 and 25-20 before UNOH finished off the match in the fifth 15-11. 

Logan Thomas ended her career with a massive night, scoring 21.5 points on 18 kills, three block assists and two service aces. Abigail Martin and Elli Roetgerman both finished in double figures on the night. Martin had eleven points on ten kills and two block assists. Roetgerman ended with 10.5 on ten kills and one block assist. 

Savanna Reed led all players with 26 assists and Madelyn Hampton recorded her seventh double-double in the last nine games digging a team high 21 times with 15 assists. Aubree Ricketts had 19 digs and Bailey Gregory added a season high 15.

UNOH ends the season 14-19 overall, the program's most wins since 2019.
