Thomas and Hampton Highlighted in 2023 WHAC Volleyball Honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has released season honors for the 2023 women's volleyball campaign. Two Racers earned spots on all-conference teams with seven on the All-Academic team, the program's most since 2017.

Logan Thomas was named Second Team All-WHAC for the second straight season after leading the team with 385 kills this season and becoming just the fourth player to hit the 1,000 career mark in program history. Madelyn Hampton did a little bit of everything for the Racers this season earning herself a spot on the All-Freshman team. Working primarily as the number two setter for most of the season, Hampton took advantage of an opportunity and ended the season with double-doubles in seven of the final nine matches. To go along with her 357 assists and 238 digs, she also compiled 29 kills, 20 service aces and five block assists in her freshman campaign.

Four Racers earned their first All-Academic honors; Anika Burke, Savanna Reed, Elli Roetgerman and Logan Thomas. Three earned their spot for the second time; Hope Fetherolf, Taylor Reust and Aubree Ricketts.
