Gregory Wins First WHAC Defender of the Week Award

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has named Northwestern Ohio's Bailey Gregory as the Defender of the Week for the week ending September 1.

The senior Racer libero put together one of the best weeks of her career tallying 116 digs over six matches played averaging 5.27 per set. Gregory eclipsed the 1,000 career dig mark against Bryan on Wednesday and recorded a career high of 32 against Union on Saturday. She currently leads the WHAC in both digs per set (4.94) and total digs (247) with 1,110 in her career, good for seventh all-time.

It is her first career player of the week award.
