UNOH Volleyball Releases Upcoming 2025 Schedule
LIMA, OH - The University of Northwestern Ohio volleyball program has announced the release of their upcoming 2025 schedule consisting of 33 regular season matches with twelve on the road, eleven at home and ten played at neutral sites.
For the third time in four years, UNOH will open the season at the Onset Invitational hosted by St. Francis (IN) August 22-23 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne. The Racers will play two matches each day with Fisk and Brescia starting the weekend followed by Bethel and Bryan on Saturday. They will then head to Rio Grande the next weekend for the two-day Emileigh Jo Cooper Memorial Classic. It's the Racers' first time at the Classic since 2017 where they will square off with Ohio Christian and Shawnee State, the first meeting since 2017, on Friday, August 29. Saturday will see UNOH take on host Rio Grande for the first time since 2014 followed by Kentucky Christian to wrap up August.
The month of September begins with the WHAC Opener as UNOH heads to Defiance before a single non-conference matchup against Shawnee State. Five of the remaining eight matches in September will be played in The Garage with Lourdes, Indiana Tech, Siena Heights, Madonna and UM-Dearborn all making the trip to Lima. In between will be a Grand Rapids weekend as the Racers face Cornerstone on Saturday, September 20 followed by a tri-match with Governors State at Aquinas on Sunday.
October will be the heaviest month of the season for UNOH playing 13 total matches with just four of those played at home. Two tri-matches highlight the month with Aquinas and Cumberlands visiting The Garage on October 18 and Madonna hosting the UNOH and Trinity Christian on October 25. Another brief respite from conference play will cap the month with a trip to the Maxwell Center for a showdown against Ohio Christian.
UNOH will finish off the 2025 campaign with back-to-back home matches taking on Lawrence Tech on November 7 and Rochester Christian November 8.
After a brief expansion last season, the WHAC Tournament will fall back to it's previous standard with the top eight teams qualifying for post season action. The Quarterfinal Round is scheduled for Wednesday, November 12 followed by the Semifinals November 14 and Finals November 15 with the higher seed hosting the lower seed throughout.
Along with the varsity schedule, the UNOH volleyball program also anounced the full schedule of games for the 2025 Development Team that includes nine away dates, six home dates and two WHAC Tournament dates.
