UNOH Draws 1-1 Again at Lourdes

SYLVANIA, OH - After picking up a 1-1 tie in the conference opener Saturday, UNOH men's soccer repeated the effort on in their second WHAC outing at Lourdes.

Both goals came in the first half just 37 seconds apart. UNOH hit paydirt first with Diego Cerezo connecting with Moritz Guettel on a 2v1 break away. Lourdes took the opportunity to hit back and leveled the match before anyone was even settled back in. Lack of shooting was never a problem, but accuracy is key to scoring goals and the teams combined to put just eight of 28 shots on target in the match. The Gray Wolves played the final ten minutes with ten men after a sending off, but the Racers couldn't capitalize leaving the match even at the final horn.

Georgios Theodoulides (1-3-2) made three saves over his 90 minutes to maintain the draw in his sixth start of the season.

UNOH will return home the first time in three weeks to take on UM-Dearborn Saturday, September 30 at 4:00 PM.
