SOUTHFIELD, MI - After falling behind early, UNOH rallied to score twice in the second half and bring homa a 2-1 win at (RV) Lawrence Tech.
The Blue Devils got on the board with just their second shot of the game but it would be their only one despite plenty of chances. The second half began with the game still 1-0 but the Racers evened things up in the 57th minute. Moritz Guettel bagged his fourth goal of the season with a header into the top corner off a corner kick from Bjarne Renner. In the 80th minute, Diego Cerezo notched his team leading fifth goal of the season to put UNOH up 2-1 with ten minutes to play. Lawrence Tech tried to tie up the game but were denied as the Racers picked up just their second road win of the season.
Ross Synnott (4-3-1) made five saves over 90 minutes to pick up the win.
UNOH returns home to wrap up the season with two matches at Racer Stadium. Wednesday, October 25, the Racers will host Concordia before wrapping up with Rochester on Senior Day Saturday. Both games kick off at 3:00 PM.
